Blending contemporary vocal jazz with soul, poetry, African rhythmic influences and a classical vocal foundation, The Butterfly Project traces a deeply personal journey through darkness, resilience and renewal.
Co-produced with award-winning pianist and producer Luyanda Madope, the album features an exceptional ensemble of South African jazz musicians, including Tlale Makhene, Tendai Shoko, Dalisu Ndlazi, Sunnyboy Mthimune, Lungile Kunene and Kuki Mokubetsi
Miriam and her ensemble are set to deliver an intimate and uplifting evening of contemporary jazz, powerful storytelling and musical transformation - celebrating both the arrival of The Butterfly Project album and an exciting new voice on the South African jazz stage.
