Godfrey Johnson in RUDE SONGS An evening of satire, ballads, and parody. Join Johnson on a musical journey of original compositions as he sings about politicians, ageism, influencers, and Barbie Dolls. Mostly original songs, with the odd gem by Jacques Brel and other poets. About Godfrey: Johnson is no stranger to The Galloway Theatre. He recently performed there in The Good News Cabaret with Roland Perold, directed by the acclaimed Paul Griffiths. Previous original one-person shows include Blonde Juan , Songs My Lover Forgot To Sing To Me , and The Johnson Jukebox . Other performances include The Importance of Being Harnessed , Alice sal Regkom , VASLAV , The Shadow of Brel , Flirting with Coward , and UNZIPPED . He also recently performed with Pieter-Dirk Uys in Bambi in Cabaret . A Fleur du Cap Theatre Award winner and 7-time nominee, Johnson promises an utterly delicious night.
