A one-day, HPCSA-accredited workshop following the deceased donor pathway in sequence, from early identification and referral, through brain-death testing, organ retrieval and tissue donation, to the outcomes for the patients who receive them.

South Africa's deceased donor rate remains around 1.4 donors per million population, well below comparable countries. Much of that shortfall begins at the frontline, with potential donors going unrecognised or unreferred. This workshop is built to change that.
